By coincidence, AID presently has a team in Jordan looking at housing
as an area of possible US involvement. Present plans are to build a
small number of houses as a pilot project, then develop a $4 million p---
gram for housing. in the Jordan Valley. Our housing people are not sure
a comparable counter offer of our. own.
