The maneuvers were commanded by ~arsh Kirill A. Mere, CD NO. DATE DISTR. 23 May 1951 NO. OF PAGES NO. OF ENCLS. (LISTED BELOW) SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 1. Large-scale maneuvers of the Soviet Army took place in the Primorski Krai 2. Among the units participating in these maneuvers were the 21st, 22nd, and -23rd infantry divisions, the 7th and 8th cavalry divisions, the 27thheavy artillery regiment, the 12th tank division, the 17th and 18th air brigades, and various air units. 3. The maneuvers were offensive in character. The troops attahked-`'from'.the area of Voroshilov (43-47N, 131-54E)-Ussurka (45-12N, 133-13E)-Razdolnoye (43-33N, 131-55E) in the direction of Poset (42-39N, 131-22E), Barabash (43-12N, 131-22E), and Novo-Kiyevsk (not located).
