The present paper deals with the crystal chemistry of
high atelting carbides, silicides and borides. UC and
mixtures of UC together with TiC, ZrC, VC, NbC,
TaC, Cr3--2, Mo2C, WC and ThC were prepared by
the method of hot-pressing. It was found that UCformE
a series of mixed crystals, respectively, with ZrC,
