r The -contractor has reviewed the Boeing report covering
the subjective test of the scattering particle screens.. Corning's
analysis of the report indicates that ?the efficiency of the
screens, including the commercially available Polacoat .screen
used as a comparison, was limited by the capability of the Govern-
ment furnished rear projection viewer used in the tests. Even so,
from a relative standpoint, two of the Corning screens showed im-
proved characteristics over the Polacoat screen. No further work
will be attempted on improving the scattering screens, the major
emphasis now being directed toward perfection of the lenticular.

2. Research is being conducted on methods of forming the
lenticules on various substrates. This investigation should be
completed ,by 1 February 1910. The technique for manufacturing the
mask is nearing completion and a-usable sample screen should be
forthcoming sometime during the month of February.
