Dear Dan,
We are putting together a final report which
covers the following subjects:
1. Preparation of solid state correlators.
2. Effects of sensor non-linearities on response
to a sine wave target.
3. On coded holograms
4. Fourier Analysis of intensities.
5. Design of stereo-microscope automatic
registration system.
Rather than wait until all this is completed and
typed, I, thought of sending you some of the pieces and
giving you the final report after I return from vacation
on August 16.
I am also sending a copy of the proposal which I
sent to Bill K. for the continuation. I hope you can
manage to make it effective at as an early a date as
possible.
I estimated the funding required to accomplish
some significant work on various items which we dis-
cussed. Here are my rough estimates:
1) Engineering Prototype of stereo-matcher
each additional unit
2) "Poor Man's" Modulated Light Viewer -
Study and design
Demonstration unit of low resolution
3) Continue development of sandwich type
Solid State Correlator
4) Coded Holograms
Study
Design
Breadboard
