SUBJECT Imagery Analysis Memorandum (IAM), New North Korean Maritime
Coastal Security Force Units
1. Enclosed is a copy of an Imagery Analysis Memorandum (IAH) discussing
five new Maritime Coastal Security Force (MCSF) Units in addition to the
twelve previously identified. Also, a new shipyard that constructs the
vessels used by the MCSF, one small-patrol boat, and two single vessels
can now be associated with the MCSF. (SWN)
2. The report follows a new NPIC format which we hope will provide a more
timely dissemination of intelligence issues. (S)
