1. SIGNIFICANCE: PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR THE FIRST LAUNCH OF
THE CSL-X-3 SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLE. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: A CSL-X-3 SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLE (SLV) ERECTED ON A
LAUNCH STAND IS VISIBLE WITHIN THE SERVICE GANTRY TOWER
PLATFORMS. NUMEROUS PERSONNEL ARE ON THE LAUNCH PAD. FIVE
BUSES AND SEVERAL VIP VEHICLES ARE NEARBY. TWO
ELECTRONICS/INSTRUMENTATION VANS ARE ON A NEWLY CONSTRUCTED
SUPPORT VEHICLE PARKING AREA NEXT TO THE LAUNCH PAD APRON. AT
THE SONGLIN MISSILE ASSEMBLY/CHECKOUT AREA
1.5 NM SOUTH OF THE LAUNCH SITE, ALL THREE STAGE TRANSPORTERS
FOR THE CSL-X-3 SLV AND TWO CRYOGEN TRUCKS ARE PRESENT. (SWN)
IT IS UNCERTAIN WHETHER THIS ACTIVITY REPRESENTS ACTUAL LAUNCH
PREPARATIONS OR A REHEARSAL. (SWN)
