SUBJECT: Travel Request
This memo is to request authorization to travel to Santa Monica,
California to attend a 24-25 March meeting of the Steering Group for Improved
Methods for Strategic Analysis. I will be representing Larry Gershwin at the
meeting, which is being held under Andy Marshall's auspices to discuss future
planning for the Rand Strategy Assessment System (RSAS) project. I also
intend to take advantage of this opportunity to be briefed on other Rand
projects of interest to NIO/SP, which will entail an additional day at the
Rand offices.
