_ 2. This meeting was called by the Chairman for the purpose of
obtaining Committee action on an 0/NE request for estimates on the
reliability factor of the various Soviet guided missile systems and
on priorities assigned the various Soviet guided missile categories.

ii------ 3. The 'SEC GM Committee drafted a proposed estimate of Soviet
guidedmissile reliability. Inasmuch as there had been insufficient
time for each member agency to make an adequate check on US guided

missile reliability factor which, in the co plete absence of intelli-
approval of thia proposed estimate was postponed until Friday., /3
August 1954 The Chairman requested each mem r to indicate their
genes on this subject, must be used as a guide, final Committee

r 4. Regarding the requested estimate on priorities accorded the
various Soviet guided missile categories, the Committee agreed that,
considering the dearth of intelligence, this subject had been
adequ5tely covered in the basic contribution.

5. The SEC Ad Hoc Guided Missile Subcommittee met with the
parent Committee, 1330-1530 hours, 10 August 1954. The SEC GM
Committee 2s contributions were approved with minor modifications
by the SEC and will be forwarded to 0/NE on 13 August 1954.
