Oil Refinery:
It was originally constructed during Japanese occupation, and completely
destroyed during Korean Hostilities. This site, approximately 500 meters
long and 300 meter& wide, was bounded by a barbed wire fence on the south
side; northerr side faced the sea (Yong Hung Bay), After Hostilities, bulky
iron "devices? were imported there, but Source could not give date of importa-
tion, country of origin, nor type of devices. According to him, the refinery
was not believed to have fully regained its original operational status, but
was assumed to be at least half operational.
