Clearances are compatible with job requirements. VI. Growth of the Central Registry. (TAD A) A. In the past, the input of cards into the Index has been at the rate of 2000.00 per month. Four months ago, a more selective criteria was put 5 into effect and the growth appears to be between 12,000 and 14000 per month. It will take about 6 more months to get a true picture of how the new criteria will affect the growth. D. Average about 200 new dossiers per month. VII. Remarks, A. The number of requests per ponth from the West German Agencies has more than doubled in the past four months. This is due to a re-screening proram of all German government employees in responsible positions. D. About 50 percent of the files that are here in the Central Registry axe duplicated at Fort Dolabird. The remainder are considered to be of interest to the local Command only. C. In the event of an emer:7ency, the plan is to move the Central Reijstry to a location in France. vIll.
