Sec. The authorities conferred by this Title upon the
Office of National Drug Control Policy (hereinafter "ONDCP") and
its Director shall not be exercised in a manner that is
inconsistent with the provisions of the National Security Act of
1947, as amended, or that interferes with the authorities of the
Director of Central Intelligence or the heads of the other United
States intelligence ccnmunity agencies to conduct intelligence
activities, to establish priorities for intelligence collection
efforts, to develop a national foreign intelligence budget, and
to protect intelligence sources and methods and other information
classified for national security purposes. The Director of
Central Intelligence and the heads of such agencies shall render
full assistance and support to the ONDCP and its Director in the
performance of ONDCP functions and shall ensure that ONDCP
priorities and requirements are given conplete consideration.
