On this date I met with Messrs. Denver.Dickersoni Staff Director and Paul C. Beach, Assistant Staff Director, Joint Committee on. Printing (JCP). Attending withme were Messrs. Office Of the Legislative Counsel:, and Office of Central Reference, CIA. The purpose of the meeting Was to reaffirm the,position of the JCP in its re- lationship with the Agency. 2. opening remarks addressecl,the immediate problem of how to handletequests:eMenating from GPO Superintendent of Documents as well as from private institutiOns for the Agency to furnish copies of unclassified Ublications to the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) Mentioned that it would cost about $2 million per year if we had to comply with these requests. 3. -The immediate response Of the staff members was Pyou're.
