Thanks for your kind words about the Lincoln Club
speech. As you know, I am in the midst of the confirmation
process connected with my appointment as Director of Central
Intelligence. If all goes well, I should be over at the agency
in the not too distant future. Inasmuch as my future commitments
are not yet settled, I will be unable to give you a firm answer
at this time. I will, however, correspond with you as soon as I
get settled. Once again, thanks for thinking me and I look
forward to discussing the Young Presidents' Organization
Conference in the future with you.
