On September 8, 1986, I called Kevin McGuiness, Counsel for Senate Labor and Human Relations Committee. He works for Senator Hatch who chairs the Committee. 2. I asked him the status of S. 1815, the Senator's bill banning private use of polygraphs. When last we spoke, the Committee had reported out the bill as introduced with the understanding that it would revise the bill and attempt to get agreement of those concerned. Mr. McGuiness indicated that the staff had prepared a revised bill. They planned to show it to the Senator this week and if he approved it, circulate it to all interested parties. He included us in the interested parties. I indicated that I would be in touch with him later in the week.
