MEMORANDUM FOR: Chairman, COMOR
SUBJECT: BRASS KNOB Coverage of Cuba
1. Attached are the following:
a. a table showing BRASS KNOB coverage of the COMOR Highest
Priority Targets for Cuba during 1 - 17 July,
b. a table showing BRASS KNOB coverage of all COMOR targets
during the same period.
c. a map showing the locations of the COMOR targets with arrows
indicating those not covered furing 11 - 17 July.
2. Deteriorating weather conditions have caused a marked reduction
in coverage and in fact caused the cancellation of one day's mission.
During 11-17 July, 6 BRASS KNOB missions were flown, and 48 percent
of the total land area of Cuba was covered by photography with 25 percent
or less cloud cover. During this period, 19 of the COMOR targets were
not covered, and of these 7 were in the Highest Priority category.
