Because of the strong interest expressed in the Flexible Benefits feature
of the Human Resource Modernization and Compensation Task Force study, we are
continuing our effort to design a Flexible Benefits Program. To ensure this
program meets the needs of employees and their families, we plan to seek your
opinions on our current benefits program and additional options that could be
offered under a Flexible Benefits Program. In order to obtain this critical
input, the Office of Personnel will soon distribute an Employee Benefits
Survey to each employee presently eligible for Federal insurance benefits.
Because the survey results will be used in designing the Flexible Benefits
Program, we urge you to take advantage of this opportunity to influence the
final product.
We realize that completing this survey will take time but we really need
the information to design a plan which will fit your needs. We are mailing
the survey directly to you. If you do not receive one by 31 December 1987.
