1. In the vicinity of Zrenjanin, north of Belgrade, the Yugoslav army has
reportedly prepared trenches and posted hilltop observation posts.
Between six and eight horsedrawn artilIery pieces and an unspecified
number of infantry personnel have been observed. The army is allegedly
employing civilian bricklayers and carpenters in the area.
2. Local inhabitants in Zrenjanin do not believe there is a large local
concentration of army troops and are of the opinion that the area
would be abandoned in case of attack.
.3. Airport installations, located at the airfield at Um, have been dis?
mantled and moved to Mostar.
