chairman of the Judiciary Committee's
Subcommittee on Improvements in Judi-
cial Machinery, I wish to announce hear-
ings on S. 3475, a bill to abolish the office
of U.S. commissioner, and to establish In'
place thereof the offices of U.S. magis-
trate and deputy U.S. magistrate. The
hearings will be held July'll, 12, and 13,
1966, in room 6226 of the New Senate
Office Building. .
Any person who wishes to testify or

cation amendments of 1966, on Tuesday,
