This month thousands of Americans were studying a plea for money from an organization that calls itself "Peace." Its slogan is "For humanity's sake we must devote our work to Peace." The literature gives the person who gets it the "opportunity" to contribute $5, $10, $25 or $100. "Peace" has refused twice Jo anwer questions put to it 13Vcrli-rid-ependent. The organization, wifir-aVIdll'ittss'In-, Washington, D.C., ". . anti-communist, non-governmental, non-charitable, private organization of its members seeking no special privilege or status from any gov- ernment. Dues are non-tax deductible." No member names appear in the litera- ture and attempts to secure more informa- tion have been futile.
