1. In response to your referenced routing sheet of
18 December 1986, the attached information regarding high
technology opportunities is provided for your use. This
information only addresses the 0 technology listed in
paragraph three of the attached. referenced memorandum from
hairman, Intelligence Research and
Development Council (IRDC) to the DDCI dated 14 December 1986.
In that paragraph, pecifically suggested that the
Office of Logistics tvL) con act the Defense Advanced Re
Projects Agency (DARPA) to look into procurement.
2. New technologies other than which were listed in
memo were excluded from OL's focus in this memo
because further actions for those technologies were directed to
DARPA, DIA, NSA, and the CIA's offices of Personnel and
Security.
