1. There is a feeling in Europe that Paul Schwarzkopf was quite fortunate
in his powder metallurgy operations in Austria after World War II.
The Netherlands
2. The story is that he left Austria Just prior to Hitler's taking over the
country and went to.0999M. There he sold the Austrian Plant to Germans
by selling the Dutch patent rights. The Germans expanded the plant and
increased the employees from V9e to d4Y~?d~rr~.

3. After World War II, the plant was handed back to Schwarzkopf. He very
soon got in technical difficulties. He then hired a German, Schultz,
who had previously operated the plant, and who got it back into profitable
shape.
