manual was published by the State Publishing House of the Defense
Industry in Moscow in 1.958. It is volume II of this series, and
it deals with the design of the aircraft. S. V. Ilyushin and G. L.
Markov are the co-authors of this manual. This volume contains 314
pages. Numerous photographs, drawings, and diagrams are irclided with
the text. When detached from this report, the manual may be considered
as FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY.
