ii (6) EMR Systems
Conditions: Proposal is submitted on the basis that all
engineering changes prior to the design freeze
(this will include selected environmental tests,
integration and mock-up tests which are part'of
the present six (6) vehicle program obligations)
will be incorporated into the six (6) production
systems as a burden to the contractor. Changes
incorporated subsequent to the deli freeze,
said design freeze having been established as
time of vehicle and integration test completion
immediately prior to entry into Cat. I. will be
incorporated in accordance with ECP procedure and
costs will accordingly be borne by the Government.

Description: Spares for IIVIR Systems
This contractor has divided this item into two (2) separate
areas, specifically:
1. An amount for the provisioning effort attendant to
the establishing of spares requirements, same having
been incorporated under the Associated Items as
"Item 2 (a)", and
2. The actual spares acquisition cost which at this time
remains an unknown but for which a reserve has been
indicated under"Item 2 (b)".
Note: The reserve indicated under "Item 2 (b)"
is intended to provide support for an
initial one (1) year period - depletion
allowances beyond this point have not been
taken into account hereunder.

Descriptions Operational AGE Equipments - Three (3) each
Pursuant to the 23 March 1964 conference conducted at
the SPO, this contractor's proposal provides for the
development and fabrication of three (3) ea. Operational
AGE 'equipments, said equipments to be util$zed as follows:
1 system remains at Contractor's facility
for check-out of EMR Systems.
1 system to be located at CPC
1 system to be deployed with MPC

Engineering Studies and Engineering Changes
This contractor has divided this item into two (2) separate
areas, specifically:
l.'An amount for the preliminary investigation? associated
with either of the required tasks which would be limited
to a preliminary definition of the approach that is to
be taken and an associated budgetary cost. The afore-
mentioned preliminary investigation and budgetary cost
would be of sufficient definition to permit Contracting
Agency evaluation and direction along the lines of pro-
ceeding with the effort or discontinuing same. These
preliminary investigation costs only have been included
under Item 5 (a) and,
2. Under Item 5 (b) of the ttReserve for Presently Undefined
Areas" this contractor has listed an estimated amount
for the actual accomplishment of engineering studies
and ECP (s).

Description: Training
In all oases where applicable, course content, format and
method of presentation will be similar to that covered in
Cat. II'training utilizing'the same instructors for class-
room lectures. Length of course preparation tice':is based

on these" assumptions.
The budgetary estimate includes the development of all
necessary static training aids and classroom handout material.
It does not include any simulators or Mobile Training Units
(MTU) or exotic teaching devices (closed circuit TV, Teaching
Machines' etc.). Use of an actual EMR and AGE System on a
GFE basis is assumed.

provide Depot maintenance at the operating location.

coming firm quotation.

Description: Air Vehicle Integration
The budgetary proposal reflects the basic assumption that
this contractor will be permitted the utilizatin of field
shop equipment at EAFB or BAFB where same is re4uired to
support the vehicle integration operation. It is not
intended that a field shop be set up and outfitted at the
integration site.
