Photograph No. 1: Source Stated that the name of the street in this picture was prospekt imeni Stalinai it had previously been named Sovetskaya ulitsa.1 He thought that thbuilding in the left fore- ground of the photograph was the MVD headquarters of the Belorussian SSR. 50X1 b. Photograph No. 2: Prospekt tmeni Stalina. The MVD headquarters of the Belorussian SSR was located in the building with the tower, in the right center of the photograph. c. Photograph No. 3: A Russian Orthodox church on Sovetskaya ulitsa, which Was located a short distance west of the Government House firOm pravitel- stva7 of the Republic. d. Photograph No. 4: The large building with the tower was used to quarter railroad workers. Various shops, stores, and restaurants were located on the ground floor), and apartments were located on the other floors. e. Photograph No, 5: The building under construction is the new Profsoyuz building. With the exception of finishing work on the outside, this building was practically completed, but unoccupied f. g. Photograph No. 6: In this photograph, the building with the towers is a former Catholic church. The towers had been removed, and, in several stories were being added to the building.
