SUBJECT: Letter of Appreciation for Work on 1988 Consumer Survey
1. In behalf of the Intelligence Producers Council, its Staff, and the
Intelligence Community as a whole, we wish to thank you for your efforts in
the successful development and execution of the 1988 Consumer Survey. We have
been impressed with the professional and expeditious way in which the survey
was conducted. Moreover, the lessons that can be drawn from the survey data
clearly show how the Community can take steps to ensure that its support to
senior policymakers is even more useful and relevant.
2. We want you to know that we are mindful of the special and unique
contributions you have made to the success of the Consumer Survey. Again,
please accept our thanks for a job well done. We think that the Special
Achievement and Monetary Award you are receiving in connection with this
project represents only a small token of the value of your contribution.
