Isn't there a standard reply to such letters? CIA could use
the $100.00, but the policy issues involved in accepting private
donations would require Cabinet approval.
I suggest that kr. Wafter be informed that there are a
number of private organizations devoted to carrying the truth to
peoples behind the Iron Curtain and thus keeping alive the spirit
of freedom there. Among them are: Radio Free Europe, 2 ?ark Avenue,
New York and the Asia Foundation, 345 East 46th Street, New York, or
Volunteers for Freedom, 337 Boulevard of the Allies, P. 0. Box 781,
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
