SUBJECT: PCB Removal
1. For the last :month, the Office nf TnaistiCS has been
engaged in the removal of a PCB spill
This costly and time consuming process is being
conducted in accordance with EPA guidelines by Substation Test
Company, a certified PCB removal contractor.
2. The cost to date has exceeded and the project
is still in progress. Since the recent budget reductions
deleted all contingency funds from the Logistics budget, it is
requested that be made available to fund this
unforeseen emergency.
