SUBJECT: Establishing A PC Data Base
1. Engineering Division's (FD) Satellite System Branch (SSF)
is attempting to establish a data base that will be comprised of
the SKYLINY network inventory. We would appreciate OTT's
assistance and expertise concerning the following:
a. Recommendations on user-friendly systems that will
operate in a Wang or IBM PC.
b. How the system can be accessed (read only) from a
remote location in the Headquarters area
c. The capability to transfer files from the PC
(Data Base) to the IBM main frame system.
