AUTO IS FOUND
The meeting .was called after
the FBI reported the car in
? which they were last seen had
been found futted by glames in

Miss. .
The missing men are Andrew,
; Goodman, 20, and M.i e* k e y
' Schwerner, 24, both. white and
' from New Yrok, and James
: Chaney, 21, a Negro from Meri-
dian, Miss. ? .?

; them, Mt. and Mrs. Robert
i Goodman and Mr. and Mrs.

with them for about 20 minutes,
telling them of the FBI report
on the burned-out auto.
Mr. Johnson reaffirmed to the
parents the Government's inten-
tion to "spare no effort" to lo-
cate the Young pen. ? ? -
