The Director has asked me to respond to your letter of
15 August 1988 requesting the return of the transcripts of
executive sessions before your Committee that were held on'
25 and 28 February 1966. I have forwarded the Top Secret
transcripts for secure storage by the Select Committee on
Intelligence.
Please, note that pages 56 through 65 of the transcript
for 25 February 1966 have been removed at the direction of
Director of Central Intelligence Raborn. The questions from
Chairman Fullbright that resulted in this exchange were
subsequently withdrawn by the Chairman.
