A few weeks ago when you, Ken, and I were talking, he asked if I.E.
would permit total free form formatting of reports. I said I didn't
know and made a mental note to check on it. My program response time
on mental notes is certainly slow. Today, I was reviewing some of the
advanced reporting features in the I.E. Reference Guide. When I read
the answer, I remembered the question. Free formatting may be done by
using LIST statements. LIST AT is used for column location and LIST
ADVANCE XX is used for line spacing. Of course, using these
statements only is of value if you know specifically by column and
line number where you want to be.
Hopefully, this information was covered in the I.E. class that
people attended.
