He tabled a memorandum on The Director thought that the study was worth- while and suggested the distribution. Godfrey reported on relations among certain top Soviet leaders. Kent tabled the memorandum on Jordan. DDCI wondered whether the last paragraph might not reflect intelligence reports available this morning. The Director asked Kent to go over the paper again this morning and to discuss it with both C /CI and C /NE. He suggested distribution. 25X1 Kent briefed on a luncheon with Chet Cooper yesterday. attention to an article in this morning's Washington Post on Soviet air defense. explained a problem involving the SR-71. Carver said that a Joint War Games Agency film will be shown at 10:30 a. m. this morning. DDCI indicated that he would like to see it. Carver called attention to a cable from George Allen on conversa- tions at CINCPAC and said that he will prepare the gist in a letter for the Director's signature to Secretary McNamara and Bob Komer. Carver said that people from Systems Analysis and ISA of the Depart- ment of Defense will be at Headquarters this afternoon. Chamberlain for A-DD/S&T discussed the Viet Cong's use of tear gas grenades.
