Morning Meeting of 18 November 1966
DD/I noted that the preliminary assessmen
of Mission 1037 was disappointing. He tabled a memorandum on

the Director's signature to Secretary McNamara and Bob Komer.
Carver said that people from Systems Analysis and ISA of the Depart-
ment of Defense will be at Headquarters this afternoon.
Chamberlain for A-DD/S&T discussed the Viet Cong's use of tear
gas grenades.

The Director complimented the Operations Center for the handling
of a problem involving the Secretary of State last night.

matters for discussion at Monday's Morning Meeting: the Director's
Christmas card list and a request from Tom Ross concerning a book
