As late as I May 1954, German employees of the ore concentration plant at 50X1-HUM
Dresden-Gittersee had seen no positive indications of any change of organization /
in the Object as a result of the so-called conversion of the Wismut AG int90
joint German/Soviet Company in January 1954.
as of June 1954, it was intended to raise the status of one of the
engineers in Zeche 3-to that of chief of the Zeche (Zecheleiter).
however, the present Russian chief of the Zeche, Popov, was to

2. In May 1954, the concentration plant was processing exclusively radioaett6sA
coal ash from the pit' heaps of Object 96. There was a noticeable decrease in the
quantity of ore received from elsewhere in the Erzgebirge, and such ore as was
received was being stored and not processed immediately.
3. In May 1954,
average number of 4-ton trucks, which contained the final product, leaving the
concentration plant daily was about 7 or 8. The trucks were, however, all covered.,
and it was impossible to determine the quantity of contents of each truck or the
destination.

4. No change in the senior Russian staff in the ore concentration plant had been
noticed during the period April to May 1954..
