hid the secret of his Jewish
origin, "Peter Kibss of The New
York Times received special
mention for his lead story on
the power blackout last Nov. 9.
The Public Service Award
went to The New York Times
for the 10-page newspaper pub-
lished during the blacqout. The
.awards will be presented at a
dinner at the Americana Hotel
April 25;
