1. Attached for your review and consideration is a copy of a Technical
Imagery Analysis Report published by the Foreign Science and Technology Center
(FSTC) in Charlottesville. FSTC regularly produces these reports for in-house
use concerning their on-going research efforts.
2. The COMIREX Staff should have as part of its responsibilites, the
brokering of exploitation products among various imagery community
organizations. I believe FSTC is producing a sound publication which contains
good information. It may prove useful to your analysts substantively and
their having access to it might also go some distance to contribute to a
reduction of duplicative exploitation and reporting. The COMIREX Staff will
work with FSTC to develop a distribution list to get these reports to you, if
you decide you want them, and to others as they express interest.
3. Please let me have your decision by 30 October 1989.
