STAT
1. In response to referenced requirement. a imited review of
Mission 66T712 and consultation with of TID/TSB was STAT
conducted by of GMD/PAG on 18 November 1966. STAT
2. Comments pertaining to this discussion are as follows:
A. Untitled original negatives only were provided
for this mission.
B. Photographic quality for the entire mission was
rated poor to fair. Apparent cause was evaluated to
be probable improper camera focus.
C. Complete INS data had not been provided thereby
precluding mensuration evaluation, etc.
3. Summary and Recommendation: has prepared a
detailed evaluation of the mission from a qualitative position and
inasmuch as PAG had conducted a prior evaluation of the Type IV
imagery (Reference B), PAG will not prepare an evaluation report
from this mission. Future test missions employing the Type IV. camera
system, if of acceptable quality from an interpretability stand point,
and if received in duplicate positive form, will be evaluated in
depth by PAG. An evaluation report, as it may tend to expand Reference
"B" will be completed and forwarded, as appropriate. The above
recommendations were discussed with the NPIC coordinator,
TDS/TPS who concurred in their content.
