1. During the last reporting period, representatives from
OCA and SES met with staff personnel from the House Armed
Services Committee (HASC) to discuss a security awareness
briefing that will be given to all HASC personnel maintaining
SCI access with CIA.
2. On 4 August 1988, SES completed the last of four
briefing sessions for LDA/DDI. The briefings were well
received with nearly 100 percent participation.
3. On 29 July 1987, a representative of the Security
Education Staff was guest speaker at the FBI Super D.E.C.A.
Counterintelligence Seminar which convened in the auditorium of
FBI Headquarters Washington, D.C. Security Officers from over
two hundred contractor facilities plus various Government
agencies were afforded a three hour presentation entitled
Soviet Espionage In Industry.

5. On 9 August, the Security Education Staff hosted the
pilot running of a PAR Workshop to introduce the new PAR
narrative format for OS. Twenty-three OS managers and
supervisors selected by the Career Management Staff attended.
A second running is scheduled for 31 August and the attendees
have been selected by CMS. After the 31 August workshop SES
will be conducting additional runnings, on a schedule to be
determined, to serve the remaining OS managers and supervisors.
6. On 5 August eighteen security officers successfully
