1. The Agency has nominated nine employees for the
Symposium on Cost-Effectiveness Analysis (14 - 16 June)
sponsored by the Institute for Defense Analysis. Among the
candidates are Messrs. John M. Clarke,
2. attended the Institute in Plasma
Physics at Princeton University last summer at a cost of
$1, 010. 58. He agreed to continue in service until 10 August
1965. I understand from the DDS&T Senior Training Officer
that has requested a month's waiver. Although
he does not return to academic life until next September, he
wishes to resign and leave the Agency by 10 July.
3. For the National Interdepartmental Seminar
beginning 14 June, we still have only four nominees. They
are:
