1. Your request for ntoxiiil comments an sUbject Bill was
received January 1,, 1959. As you know, we have for a long
time given serious thought to the subject of teChnical and
specialist civilian reserves. We have, in feet such a reserve
in being in the Central Intelligence Agency.
2. in view of the above, it would not be possible for us
to prepare adequate comments on the porposed Bill by January 19.
Therefore we request an extension of time to January 26 for the
stibmissio of our informal moments.
