SUBJECT: 20 January 1984 Meeting of the Foreign Language Committee
1. I have not prepared any minutes of the 21 December 1983 meeting since
virtually the sole business conducted was a review of the materials we planned
to use at the PFIAB briefing. You have all been notified that that meeting
has now been postponed since the PFIAB will be received by the President at
the time scheduled for us. We shall, however, be briefing one of the PFIAB
task forces in February or March and probably the Board as a whole sometime
thereafter. The materials which we have assembled for the PFIAB briefing will
be presented, in a somewhat different form, as our annual report to the
DDCI. Copies of that draft report will be given to you at the next FLC
meeting to be held a 1230 hours on Friday, 20 January 1984 in Room 6N05,
Community Headquarters Building.
