MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence
Appointment as Consultant
Oberlin Coilege-
Oberlin College, as a Consultant to the Per-
sonnel Office under CIA Project "Establishment of
Career Corps. " This project calls for the appointment of consultants
at selected universities to refer promising students for careers in
the Central intelligence Agency.

Liaison and Recruitment Officer of the Personnel Office, as the beat
available member of the Oberlin College staff for this position by virtue
of his ability, interest and opportunity to come in contact with many
students,
3. There is no present consultant at Oberlin College who meets
the qualifications for this project.
4. will be paid at the rate of $50.00 per day
only when in Washington, D. C. for indoctrination. It is planned to
bring him here for one week's indoctrination when appointed and then
for three or four days annually thereafter.
