1. Your approval is requested for the appointment of Professor
as s Consultant to the Personnel
Office under CIA Project "Establishment of Career
Corps. " This project calls for the appointment of consultants at
selected universities to refer promising students for careers in the
Central Intelligence Agency.

3. There is no present consultant at Oberlin College who meets
the qualifications for this project.

only when in Washington, D. C. for indoctrination. It is planned to
bring him here for one week's indoctrination when appointed and then
for three or four days annually thereafter.
