There are still many deficiencies in the field of education. The
authorities of the Province, cities, and guns must make an effort to eliminate
the faults and inefficiencies of our educetioni:l system. Party influence must
be expanded among the teachers and students. The teacherso particularly, must
advance themselves ideologically throu? additional seminars Fad 'other study,
methods, increasing their knowledge of Marx-Leninism.

8 December. No particular activities on the front, 'except for some
small-scale firing.' Two enemy planes were shot down and 5'damaged,
9 December. Our anti eiroraft and fighter planes dzot down a total
of six energy planes and damaged one.

Zyongyang. 0h9sun aLunang The. government, decided to cut. the prices
of commodities sold in National and Cooperative. Trade Organizations by 20 to
50 per cent. The decrease in prices is due to the recent ineronse in industrial
production, which has also resulted in a 20 to 30 per cent out in the prices of
industrial ~oods. In order to-execute the decision of the government, the
Price Control Committee has been set up. The Committee, according to a decision
of 26 PNovez.ter, despatched members to the 'provinces to establish and direct the
Price Assessment Committees in the provinces, cities and guns.

entirely invalid because the proposal was approved at meetings hold withlout
