On 2 December four people from NSA visited the Biographic
Register, Special Register and Foreign Installations Branch of
OCR. This was a follow up to a meeting which we had had at NSA
on the subject of biographic intelligence during November.
In Biographic Register, where they spent most of their time,
they were briefed on the various collateral sources which the
registry has in file and apparently were impressed at the
variety and scope, which somewhat more than they had imaged.
In the discussions which followed, the NSA representatives inquired
as to how they might tap the Biographic Registry for information
and they were consuled that the best channel would be to call
in Special Register on the gray line who would
