SUBJECTs Notice of Presentation
1. Major General Alfred M. Gruenther, Directors Joint Staff, JCS,
will discuss the current military problems in Europe at 2:00 on Tuesday,
December 70 1948, in the Situation Room, 117 Central Building.
2. General Grueeher accompanied Mr, Forrestal, Secretary of
Defense, on his recent trip to Europe.
3. Recipients are requested to notify the Presentation Division,
ORE 0 of the names of the persons who are to attend this presenta-
tion. If crncellation of reservations becomes necessary, the Presenta-
tion Division should be promptly notified.
4. It is expected that response to this presentation will be heavy,
therefore,, it is requested that submission of names be limited to those
who have a direct interest in the subject to be discussed,
