and Nicaragua as a member of the Commission of Inquiry which
investl1g+ated the rebent border controversy between those two
6oubtries, A report of the inquiry has been made to the Council
of the Organisation of American States, the organisation which
requested that the inanity be made.
3. qtr. Daniels is a career foreign service officer with

mostly in Latin America, and prior to appointment to his present
