SUBJECT: Department of Justice Proposed Report on
H.R. 4836, Land Remote Sensing
Commercialization Act of 1984
1. Attached for your review and comment is is a proposed
Department of Justice (DOJ) report on H.R. 4836, the Land
Remote Sensing Commercialization Act of 1984. The Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) has requested our views on this
report by COB 10 April 1984. Please provide me with your
comments before this time.
2. Also attached for your information is H.R. 5155,
apparently introduced as a "clean bill" version of H.R. 4836.
H.R. 5155 was reported from the House Science and Technology
Committee on 3 April 1984. Although we have not yet been
requested to comment to Congress or OMB on H.R. 5155, I would
appreciate your views on this bill nonetheless.
