concerno approval of the network of medical scientific research in-
stitutes of the USSR and the reorganization of certain institutes]
DECREE No 2201 OF TIM COUNCIL OF PEOPLES CO (ISSARS USSR,
31 OCTOP.ER 1940
To realize a better control of 'the network of medical scientific research
Inatit.utes, the Council of People's Commissars USSR resolves.
1. That the network of medical. scientific research institutes be approved
in accordance with Appendix No 1.
2, That the Peopl.e'a Coumiissariat of Public Health USSR will reorganize
certain scientific research institutes in accordance with Appendix No 2, and
further provide for the same number of beds,
That medical Workers who become unemployed as,a result of this reor-
ganization will be placed according to their specialties.
3. That the f store organization of new medical scientific research insti-
tutes be instituted only with the permission of the Council of People's Commis-
sars USCNR.
