Informing Intelligence Division, WDGS of Organization and Functions of CIG
1. A representative of this office has been informed
by several branch chiefs of the Intelligence Division, VDGS, that
their personnel are most interested in being infomsd of the
organizational outline and functions of CIG. The Assistant
Executive Director has been consulted concerning copies of charts
to be furnished a few key personnel of G-2 and arrangements therefor
are being made.
2. It was further suggested that G-2 would like to have
a representative of CIG explain the organizational chart at one of
their Morning Intelligence Conferences and this matter is referred
toyour office for action. Informal arrangements, for t he date
and time and other details will be handled by Colonel Edwards,
who will make the necessary contacts for you at your convenience.
